A quick one this week! Although they are sometimes used interchangeably, they are different…

Impressions refer to the total number of times an object (profile, account, ad, post) is SEEN.

Reach refers to the total number of individual people or accounts who have SEEN the object.

So an individual may see an ad or update etc multiple times, which is why Impressions is usually greater than the number of individuals Reached.

The number of times an individual sees an object is referred to as Frequency, such as in Facebook Ads Manager.
